born as Ioanna Mouskouri on October 13, 1934, in Chania, Crete, Greece, is a unique Greek songstress has endlessly fascinated audiences with her distinctive soprano voice. She is massively multilingual (fluent in Greek, French, Spanish, Italian, German, and English), prolific and has an incredible repertoire (from jazz to classical to pop to French cabaret songs). She was known as Nana to her friends and family as a child.
